The International Multisensory Research Forum (IMRF) facilitates communication between scientists who work with sensory systems in which more than one sense modality plays a role. We seek to include all sense modalities, species, scientific disciplines, and perspectives (anatomical, cognitive, behavioral, computational, developmental, engineering, physiological, and others).
This list serves to announce conferences and meetings of interest to our subscribers, special issues on topics related to multisensory perception, open positions at all levels, and facilitate all other communications relevant to researchers in the field.
Until late December of 2023, this list was hosted by McMaster University using the address email@example.com; that address has stopped working.

Changing your subscription
To subscribe to or unsubscribe from the list, visit https://lists.imrf.info/wws/info/multisensory and use the Subscribe or Unsubscribe items in the left-hand menu.
If you login, you can change your subscription settings. For instance, you can choose to receive a digest of all posts within a specific time frame, instead of each single post.
- Draft your email as a post to an electronic bulletin board.
- Make sure that all relevant information is included in the email, avoid attachments and links to online documents, and directly address the audience.
- The server supports html formatting, but keep in mind that some subscribers might choose a setting that scrubs the formatting.
Please note, the moderators cannot edit your email or post it for you.
This list is operated by human moderators. Subscription requests and posts to the list are checked superficially, to prevent spam being distributed through the list. Nevertheless, the sender of a post is solely responsible for its contents.
